Hi my name is Neil. I enjoy mountaineering, hillwalking and introducing people to the hills and mountains. I can teach the skills needed to be comfortable walking in the outdoors, through planning walking routes, understanding where you are and how to navigate to where you want to go. I can also advise on what kit you may need and what to take with you for day walks or camping trips, including wild camping.

I have been mountaineering and hillwalking since I was at school and have visited many mountainous and upland areas of the UK and abroad. I am a qualified International Mountain Leader based in Hertfordshire regularly visiting the upland areas of the UK.

I am available for leading walks on lowland and mountain terrain, day navigation training and National navigation award scheme courses as a freelance mountain leader.
