Chiltern hills woods and views
A picturesque walk in Chiltern hills an area of Outstanding natural beauty traveling through beech woodlands and chalk uplands.
The walk starts near Tring and moves up onto the wooded hills of the Ashridge estate above Aldbury then passing the Bridgewater monument and views of the Ashridge house in the distance before more woodland walking making for Ivinhoe beacon an Iron age hill fort with superb views over many counties and the northern start of the ridgeway national trail. following the ridgeway the walk passes more ancient monuments before arriving back at the start. The walk costs £35 per person And will take 5 hours.

fitness and Safety
The walk will be lead by me a holder of the Mountain leader and outdoor first aid qualification.
The route is on well used paths and the distance covered is 15 kilometres with one short steep ascent and descent the rest of the route has gentle undulations.
Adverse weather
The walk will go ahead in all but the most severe of weather.
